Defect Summary:
THE TWO PIECE PARALLEL ARMS MAY CONTAIN DEFECTIVE WELDS IN BOTH THE RIGHT AND LEFT ARMS OF THE LIFT GATE.

Corrective Summary:
TWO PIECE WELDED PARALLEL ARMS WILL BE REPLACED WITH A ONE-PIECE UNIT.

Recall Notes:
VEHICLE CATEGORY: TRUCKS.SYSTEM: EQUIPMENT; LIFT GATE; PARALLEL ARMS, PART NOS. 204080 AND 206337.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: DEFECTIVE WELDS COULD CAUSE THE LIFT GATE TO FAIL INSERVICE, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN SERIOUS INJURY TO THE OPERATOR.
