Defect Summary:
Hale Products Inc. (Hale) is recalling certain Quenching Agent Level Pressure Sensors, Class 1 ITL Level Displays, manufactured May 1, 2015, to July 31, 2015. When the vehicle is stationary, the affected sensors may give an incorrect reading of the remaining fire fighting agent (typically water or firefighting foam) left in the tank.

Consequence Summary:
If there is an incorrect reading of agent in the tank, it can increase the risk of injury to the fire fighter if the tank unexpectedly runs out of agent.

Corrective Summary:
Hale will notify owners, and dealers will either recalibrate the system or replace the pressure sensor, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact Hale customer service at 1-800-533-3569.
