Defect Summary:
THE BRIDGE IN THE SEAT BELT BUCKLE LOCKING MECHANISM OF THE FRONT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY MAY HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY BENT. THE BUCKLE MAY NOT HOLD PROPERLY AND WILL RELEASE, IF EXTREME FORCES ARE APPLIED.

Corrective Summary:
THE DEALER WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, REPLACE THE SEAT BELTS ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES AT NO COST TO OWNER.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES.PASSENGER VEHICLES WITH TURBO EQUIPPED ENGINES.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT, THOSE WEARING DEFECTIVESEAT BELTS WILL NOT BE ADEQUATELY RESTRAINED AND ARE SUBJECT TO INCREASED RISKOF PERSONAL INJURY.
