THE AXLE BEAM USED IN THE STEERING AXLE COULD CRACK AT THE ENDS OF THE DRAWBAR MOUNTING SUPPORTS. Corrective Summary:
THE DEALER WILL CORRECT THIS DEFECT BY REINFORCING THE LOWER AXLE BEAM AT THE DRAWBAR SUPPORT BRACKET, FREE OF CHARGE, ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES. Recall Notes:
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRANSFER TRAILERS.SYSTEM: STEERING; AXLE BEAM.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: FAILURE OF THE AXLE BEAMS COULD RESULT IN LOSS OFSTEERING, LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.
