Defect Summary:
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTOR HOMES BUILT ON A FORD CHASSIS. THE BRAKE SYSTEM WARNING INDICATOR LAMP IS NOT IN THE CORRECT POSITION IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. THIS DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 105, "HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEMS."

Consequence Summary:
THE BULB/SOCKET ASSEMBLY MAY NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY.

Corrective Summary:
DEALERS WILL PLACE THE BRAKE SYSTEM WARNING INDICATOR LAMP IN THE CORRECT POSITION.

Recall Notes:
OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN DURING OCTOBER 1999.OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT NEWMAR AT 1-800-858-4924.
