THE NEUTRAL BY PASS SWITCH WHICH ALLOWS THE NEUTRAL START SAFETY SWITCH TO BE OVERRIDDEN VIOLATES THE FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 102. Consequence Summary:
SHOULD THE NEUTRAL START SWITCH BE OVERRIDDEN AND THEBUS ENGINE STARTED WHILE IN GEAR, IT IS POSSIBLE FOR THE BUS TO MOVEUNEXPECTEDLY. THIS COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT. Corrective Summary:
