Defect Summary:
IN THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, THE AIR PRESSURE WHICH IS USED TO ACTUATE THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN SOLENOID MAY BE BLOCKED WHENEVER TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE EXCEEDS 250 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT.

Corrective Summary:
DEALER WILL INSPECT AND MODIFY THE AIR PLUMBING AS REQUIRED.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS AND DETROITDIESEL ENGINES.SYSTEM: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: IN THIS CONDITION, THE DRIVER WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SHUTTHE ENGINE OFF IN THE EVENT OF AN ENGINE RUNAWAY, WHICH COULD LEAD TO A VEHICLEACCIDENT.
