I purchased a 20 inch cordless lawnmower 3/15/17 at HD $299.99 and it came with charger OP401 and battery 40v OP4050. WHAT SHALL I DO?

"Ryobi" and "Lithium+18V" are printed in white lettering on both sides of the battery pack. The model and part number can be found on the data plate located on the bottom of the battery pack.

Home Depot sold me this Battery on 4/22/13 I charged it once and used it then put in charger on 4/26/13 Saturday P.M. on 4/30/13 Tuesday at 1:00 A.M. my wife heard popping sounds coming from the battery and unplugged the Charger and woke me up to show me . I told her all was fine and removed the Battery from the charger and starteded back to bed when the battery EXPLODED. I ran back to the room to see it was on fire and then it Exploded again. I was not hit by flying debris but backed off and hid behind a wall and it exploded twice more. sending Black dust and battery parts all over the rooms . and the battery cells and Debris melting and burning all around the room . I was able to put the fire out but am very upset about the possibilities of " What if " .
I guess Home Depot is Who i will being going after since It was Recalled by Ryobi.
I just had my two day old never used battery explode in the charger. It caught fire and damaged my house. Luckily I was home and heard it right away or it very well could have burned my whole house down. Very dangerous product and shame on Home Depot for still selling it after the recall was out. Someone's going to pay for this!!!!!
I didn’t know about the recall until my house caught on fire and the fire department said the Ryobi charger was the culprit. Luckily I was home at the time so damage was minimized. It could have been a lot worse; I could have lost the house. I only had the charger and batteries for about four months. My dad also has one. I called him to unplug, remove the battery from the charger, and set it on concrete until we find out what we should do.
