I seem to see this a lot with Dewalt tools. Tons of recalls over the last few years for tools randomly bursting into flames or electrocuting people. I wonder if this has anything to do with Black Decker buying them. I have noticed that they don't offer to repair your tool if you are too late past the service date. I had to get the replacement parts I needed at http://www.ereplacementparts.com lucky for me they were very helpful
