FYI:

There is no "time limit" under which this coffee maker may be returned. I spoke with Walmart, and the representative said, once it is a recall, it is a done deal, and the money must be refunded "no matter what" - receipt or no, box or no, etc.

So do not let the customer service desk, which may be unaware of these facts, tell you you are "too late."

Last, he gave me this number to supply to the return desk if there are questions or refusals, etc: 1=800-925-6278.
