Problem/Hazard
When these switches are used in fire or HVAC dampers and heat detectors, they could fail to operate, causing the damper not to close or causing the heat detector not to alarm if there is a fire.

Description
These "Snap Action" thermal switches were sold under the model number 2450A, 2455RA, or 2455RM. They have model numbers and date codes stamped on the sensing surface or end cap. Following are those model numbers and date codes that are part of the corrective action:
